The aim of this course is to enable you to further develop or enhance your training to Diploma qualification status and practice as a Cognitive Behavioural Counsellor as recognised by BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and BABCP (British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies).
You will be required to be in a clinical placement seeing clients and attending clinical supervision when appropriate.
You will need to complete all five elements satisfactorily and in addition complete 120 hours of one to one, face to face, counselling and 40 hours of personal development with a qualified practitioner.
In addition, you are expected to attend 100% of the course and will need to attend a minimum of 80% to achieve a pass.
Assessment is ongoing by your tutor and is subject to both internal and external moderation by the awarding body NCFE.
Reflective diary – to record personal learning from sessions, increased self awareness, record of theoretical understanding and reflections on skills practice.
£3,000 (Per Year) + VAT
£5,500 (for the Two Year Course + VAT)
